Wolverine research

I have been involved in a wolverine research program in northwestern Ontario, along with 3 colleagues: Neil Dawson, Ministry of Natural Resources, Audrey Magoun, Wolverine Foundation, and Justina Ray, Wildlife Conservation Society. We have used aerial surveys to assess the distribution of wolverines in Ontario's lowland boreal forest, and satellite telemetry to study habitat use and movements. The photograph shows a marten that was captured in a wolverine trap.
